Try this 13.4-mile loop trail near Monument Valley, Arizona. Generally considered an easy route. This is a popular trail for off-road driving and scenic driving, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through May.

John Ford's Point is one of the viewpoints along Valley Drive, the dirt road (which is also a bit bumpy) that allows you to drive through the valley alongside its impressive monoliths.
